How CANVAS HUB Mini-Modules Can Support Your Child
With Year 11 exams beginning Monday, 14th September, and HSC exams commencing from Tuesday, 13th October, our senior students are entering a critical period in their schooling. As parents, your support is invaluable - and together we can help your child feel confident and prepared.
To further assist our students, the school has developed a comprehensive set of CANVAS HUB Mini-modules. These online, bite-sized resources are designed to give students practical strategies in study, time management, academic writing, wellbeing, and digital skills. Students can access these modules at any time, whether preparing for exams or refreshing study techniques.
What is a Mini-Module?
Mini-modules are short, focused lessons, quizzes, and activities available on CANVAS. They cover essential skills such as:
Study Techniques: How to study effectively in sprints, mastering spaced practice, and making great notes
Subject-Specific Advice: Hacks for Maths, essay writing, and science subjects
Time Management: Creating timetables and weekly plans without stress
Exam Preparation: Revision strategies, managing exam time, breaking down assessment tasks
