Wellbeing Programs

Year 7 and 10 students are eligible to receive their diptheria-tetanus-pertussis and HPV (Year 7) OR meningococcal ACWY (Year 10) vaccine through the NSW Health School Vaccination Program. Both year groups have now had NSW Health attend the school and run their Vaccination Clinic.

Vaccination ONLY occurs if consent is received online through NSW Health. No student will receive a vaccination unless NSW Health have been given consent online by parents.

Parents can provide online consent using their ServiceNSW account and Medicare details. Paper consent forms are available for families without internet or Medicare - see Mr Berrell.

There will be a final clinic on Friday 23/10/2026 (Term 4, Week 2)

If your child is in Year 7 or 10 in 2026, and you wish for them to receive their vaccination, you can still provide consent using the steps below.

1. Go to https://nswhealth.service-now.com/school_vaccination

The Big Picture

Our recent Recognition Assemblies were a huge success during NSW Public Education Week. Firstly, thank you to all the parents who came to see their child receive one of the prestigious Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Awards and Medallions and congratulations again to those students on achieving this milestone. Over 300 of our students were recognised on the day and 60 of those students had reached Gold or Platinum level which is amazing!!

It has been a little while since students may have received these awards, so this is a perfect time to remind students and parents of our merit system and how students achieve them.

On The Ground

We have several wellbeing programs running through Term 3.

Tradies returns!

This term our popular “Tradies” group makes a return with some of our Year 10 students mentoring Year 8 and 9 students in practical hands-on activities around the school. Led by Pete (Chaplain) and Mr Berrell, the students will learn about building, gardening and maintenance, with a focus on building individual skills and working as a team.

RAP-A (Resourceful Adolescent Program)

RAP-A also makes a return this term with Year 7 students engaging in the resilience building program for teenagers. Our SLSO Wellbeing, Elizabeth, will be facilitating the group, which is sure to be another fun and meaningful experience for the students.

RAGE (Renavigating Anger and Guilty Emotions)

Our Year 8 cohort continues to have access to this award-winning program with our external facilitator, Erin from Junction Works, returning to run two groups this term. This program is another popular and engaging experience for students as it focuses on improving emotional awareness and regulation using fun activities, stories and games.

Drumming Circle - Rhythm to Recovery.

A small group of Year 10s will take part in this four-session wellbeing program based on rhythm, percussion and discussion. The aim of the group is to promote belonging, joy and social connection. The program will be led by Kristina (SSO) and is sure to be a memorable experience for the students involved.
