Interschool Sports

Interschool sports have been thriving this year, with Lalor North being represented in many sports ranging from Volleyball to AFL including badminton and Netball. Our sports culture is growing and developing at a rapid rate as there are significant numbers of students keen and eager to represent our school in competitive sports. For the first time in years we have competed in Netball competitions, with more to come in junior and middle school. Our volleyball team was successful and won the entire tournament in the first round of matches for consecutive years now. In year 9/10 however, falling out so narrowly in the second round of finals. Our soccer teams continue to grow as our senior girls battled and fought hard all day in a series of matches. Another milestone includes our AFL teams competing for the first time representing our school for year 9/10 boys and girls and coming away with an impressive come from behind victory. Each tournament serves as a stepping stone, a small victory that builds the foundation for greater success towards achieving our ultimate goal.

Year 11/12 Netball Girls team

The girls arrived at the competition with confidence and energy to win. Competing against Lalor SC, Thornbury HS and Reservoir HS, they challenged the other teams to fierce games, resulting in very intense matches. 

We are proud of the Year 11/12 Netball Girls team for giving their best, competing at a high level and upholding our school values.

We are proud of our Year 8 Interschool Sport Soccer teams, who made massive improvements from last year and continue to demonstrate the school values.
