Year 7 & 8 Indigenous Dance Outreach Workshop 

Tuesday 25th June, Period 4

On Tuesday 25th June during Period 4, all Year 7 & 8 students participated in their annual ‘Indigenous Dance Outreach Program’. 

Students participated in cultural discussions around ‘NAIDOC’ week coming up in July. They also commenced the session with an acknowledgment to country, engaging in some self-reflection. 

Year 7 & 8 students were all engaged in a fun dance warm up, followed by learning a group dance. 

Students also had the opportunity to partner up with a friend and freestyle dance at the end of the session. 

All Year 7 & 8 students demonstrated great ‘Courage, Imagination & Belief’ for their engagement and effort in this dance workshop. Well done to all students!
