VCE Top Arts and Top Designs Excursion

This excursion is mandatory for all VCE Art and Design Students'. The excursion is to view the work of the Top Art and Design Students from all around the state. In seeing this high- quality student work situated within a gallery space, our students will be inspired, motivated and encouraged to build a deeper understanding of the requirements for their VCE studies in Art and Design.

The excursion was in two locations. We went to the Melbourne Museum first to see the Top Designs exhibition which is of particular importance for VCD students. We then had lunch at Melbourne central, before visiting the Top Arts Exhibition which is of particular importance to Art making and Exhibiting students at the Ian Potter Centre. After this viewing students were welcome to explore the collections at the Ian Potter Centre before catching the train together back to Epping Station.
