Wellbeing - We Care

Posters designed by Year 10 students in the "Love Bites" program

"LOVE BITES"

Year 10 and Year 11 students participated in the all-day Love Bites program. Which aims to provide young people with a safe environment to examine, discuss and explore respectful relationships. The Love Bites programming takes a strength-based approach and views young people as active participants who are able to make choices for themselves and their relationships.

There will be a free supermarket run by Foodbank set up at Lalor North Secondary College on Thursday 23 May. With the cost of living rising, this supermarket provides families with a top up that can help relieve some of the pressure. The supermarket has a mixture of fresh and non-perishable items and will be set up in the car park of our school. To get a ticket, just come past and collect one from the front office. On the day you will need to bring along this ticket and your shopping bags (the shop can be done by a student or family member).

The Breakfast Club

The LNSC Breakfast Club is open daily and provides students with a positive and calm start to the day. Students make themselves toast, hot drinks, eat fruit and relax in a consistent and supportive environment. Some students are also employed to assist with stocking and cleaning duties.

A massive thank you to our fabulous Breakfast Club Co-ordinator Ms Kathy Boca and our Director of Student Voice, Agency and Positive Climate for Learning, Mr Matthew Tucker.
