Wear it Purple Day

On Friday 28 August, we celebrated Wear it Purple Day with a fantastic colour, creativity, connection and courage.

Students and staff were encouraged to wear a touch of purple to show their support, with the College coming alive with purple hats, socks, clips, ribbons, earrings etc Our lunchtime activities created lots of opportunities for students to get involved, including nail painting, chalk walk drawing, bracelet making, face painting, stickers, pens and flags, as well as contributing to our colourful Rainbow Wall.

One of the highlights was our Purple Duck Hunt, with 120 purple ducks hidden around the College! Students searched high and low to find a duck and claim a well-earned lollipop prize.

It was wonderful to see so many students and staff embracing the day and helping to create a school environment where everyone feels safe, valued, respected and included.

A huge thank you to everyone who wore a touch of purple, joined in the activities and helped make Wear It Purple Day such a colourful and positive celebration of belonging, acceptance and inclusion.
