NMPS Fete:

Volunteer Call-Out & Silent Auction Donations Needed!

The NMPS Fete is our biggest event of the year, and it only happens with the support of our incredible school community. To make the day a success for our kids, we need a large team of volunteers and community supporters to get involved!

Friday 6th November – Errol St Campus – 4pm-8pm

1.    Lend a Hand – Volunteer on the Day 

Whether you can spare an hour or help out for the day, every bit makes a huge difference.

Working with Children Check (WWCC): 

All volunteers on school grounds require a valid Working with Children Check. Approval of WWCC’s can take up to 3 to 12 weeks.

 If you don't have one yet, it is quick, easy, and completely free for volunteers:

•    Apply Online: Visit the official Working with Children Check website for your state to start your application. https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children/ 

•    Select Volunteer Status: Ensure you select a Volunteer check so there is no fee.

•    List Organisation Details: When asked for your organisation or place of volunteering, enter the Department of Education.

Once your check is approved (or if you already have a valid check), please let the school know so they can add you onto the system. 

2.    Support Our Silent Auction – Call for Sponsors & DonationsOur Silent Auction is always one of the highlights of the fete, raising vital funds for our school! 

We are currently looking for businesses, families, and sponsors to contribute items, services, or vouchers outside of our usual networks!

Popular donation ideas include:

•    Gift vouchers (restaurants, cafes, retail, experiences)

•    Goods, products, or gift hampers

•    Professional services or subscriptions

•    Event or sports tickets
