Camp
The Year 5s had an amazing time at camp on Phillip Island and all did an amazing job of representing NMPS and showing the RISE values.
There were so many fun activities and new challenges and really amazing memories made. The highlight of the first night was getting to visit the Penguin Parade. We saw so many Little Penguins walking up the beach and sleeping as we walked back to the buses. On the second day there we had lovely weather in the morning and had a really great time playing on the beach, digging holes, building sand castles and getting our feet wet. On the second night we tested our general knowledge in Trivia games, we worked with our cabins and Ari was a great trivia host. There were so many great activities on camp, the peddle cars, damper cooking, archery, rock climbing, abseiling, the flying fox but the resounding favourite was the giant swing! It was great to see everyone challenge themselves with the height they flew from and the people on the ground working together to hoist them up. When we had free time around the camp site the Trampolines and the Gaga pit were our favourite things to do
We would like to say a big thank you to our parent helpers.....
Phoebe, Sylvia, Carla, Samuel, Erin, Maurice and Katy.
We couldn’t have done it without you!
Book Week
The Year 5's put so much effort into their ‘Worst Band in the Universe’ book week display. They designed amazing aliens and wrote great poems to go with them. Thank you to all the students who contributed during their lunch times to make the display as awesome as it was.
