Text Studies
This term, students have enjoyed reading What Do You Call Your Grandma? and This Is How We Do It as part of our recent text studies. These books helped us learn about what life is like for children and families in different countries around the world. We had lots of great discussions about the things we have in common, as well as some of the interesting ways our lives, families and traditions can be different.
MATHS
This week in Prep, we have been using our addition skills to learn about money. We have been recognising and naming Australian coins, comparing their values, and practising adding different coins together to find the total amount.
