This term has started off in a BANG as our Auslan students have been using the iPad app Kahoot! to review and test their understanding of the signs, grammar, and Deaf culture facts we’ve learnt this year. The interactive quizzes make learning engaging and provide students with immediate feedback, helping to reinforce their knowledge while building confidence in a fun and motivating way. The below questions are true or false questions, can you child answer this?

Before each Kahoot! session, we take time to discuss the importance of good sportsmanship, reminding students to encourage one another, celebrate everyone's efforts, and show respect regardless of the results. These conversations help create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating, taking risks, and enjoying the learning process together.

Early finishers enjoyed a fingerspelling challenge which you can access from home here.
