Student Leadership

The Student Leadership Council has started 2026 with a BANG! We have welcomed our new recruits for the year and are excitedly working on events and initiatives for the year.  

In the first few weeks of the term, SLC has been involved in Year 7 orientation, Breakfast Club, School Uniform Shop, Reject Racism training, Oakdale Public School ‘Meet the Teacher’, and Swimming Carnival.  

Our leaders participated in the Department of education’s ‘Reject Racism’ training in Week 3. Students were able to learn from external presenters about the importance of speaking out against racism in our school. They were able to collaborate with members of each year group to develop ideas to support our anti-racism focus for each term. A big thank you to Mrs White for organising an amazing opportunity.  

Our House Captains stole the show at the swimming carnival, proudly displaying their house spirit. Even members of our Executive Team couldn’t contain their excitement for the day.
