Welcome to the 2026 School Year

The Mathematics Faculty warmly welcomes all students and families to the 2026 school year. We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and achievement in mathematics. Our focus remains on strengthening conceptual understanding, developing strong problem-solving skills, and building student confidence across all year levels. We encourage every student to approach their studies with determination, resilience, and a positive mindset as they strive for personal excellence.

Learning Readiness and Equipment Expectations

To maintain a focused and productive learning environment, students are expected to arrive at every mathematics lesson fully prepared and ready to engage. In line with school policy, students must bring the 4 Ps to every lesson:

  • Pen

  • Paper

  • Planner

  • Phone pouch

In addition, students must bring the appropriate mathematical equipment, including a scientific calculator, ruler, and any other course-specific materials. Being organised and properly equipped ensures continuity in learning and maximises opportunities for academic success.

Welcome to Our New Staff Member - Mr Wahid

We are delighted to welcome Mr Wahid to the Mathematics Faculty this year. Mr Wahid brings enthusiasm, expertise, and a strong commitment to student learning. He is passionate about fostering deep mathematical understanding while supporting students to develop confidence, persistence, and resilience. We look forward to the positive impact he will have on our students and the wider school community.
