Student-Led Learning Conversations

We are excited to invite families to our Student-Led Learning Conversations.

These conversations provide a valuable opportunity for students to take an active role in sharing their learning with you. During the session, your child will present examples of their work, reflect on their learning journey, celebrate their achievements, and discuss future learning goals with their teacher's support.

The purpose of Student-Led Learning Conversations is to:

  • Build student confidence and ownership of learning.
  • Develop communication, reflection, and goal-setting skills.
  • Strengthen the partnership between home and school.
  • Provide families with a deeper understanding of their child's learning progress.

What to Expect

During the conversation, students will:

  • Share and explain selected pieces of work.
  • Reflect on their learning and achievements.
  • Discuss their next steps and future goals.

Teachers will support and guide the discussion, providing additional insights into each student's learning and development.

Parents and carers are encouraged to listen, ask questions, and celebrate their child's efforts, growth, and achievements.

Together with the Semester Reports, these Student-Led Learning Conversations help create a comprehensive picture of your child's progress and support a strong partnership between home and school.

The conversations will take place on Wednesday, the 24th of June, from 4 pm to 6 pm and Thursday, the 25th of June, from 9 am to 6 pm.

A link will be sent home shortly for you to book a time suitable for your family via the nForma portal.

We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating your child's learning journey.
