As per Department of Education guidelines Sandringham College is required to seek consent from parents on an annual basis for the following:
LOCAL EXCURSIONS
Local excursions are excursions to locations within walking distance of the school and do not involve adventure activities. Local excursions that your child may participate in could include:
Sandringham College requests that parents provide consent to local excursions via Compass Billing. For parents who have not yet provided consent via Compass Billing a Compass event has been created. Please check your Compass account and provide consent to the event.
PHOTOGRAPHING, FILMING AND RECORDING STUDENTS
There are occasions during the school year when staff photograph, film or record students participating in school events and activities. We do this to celebrate students participation and achievements, showcase programs within the school, document a students learning journey and share events with members of our school community. If you do not consent to the school using images of your students you need to advise the school. Parents may withdraw consent by completing the agreements via Compass Billing or by calling the school on 8599 0500. A Compass event has been created for all students who are currently marked as DO NOT PUBLISH. If you wish to amend this please complete the question on the event and we will update our databases.
Compass has recently advised that you now can view the whole term in the Calendar Term view. Designed to help you stay on top of school events and activities - you can view and print a term's worth of events. Parents with multiple students at the school can select which calendar to print, with each selection generating a separate PDF for easy organisation.
