Interhouse Cross Country

We were blessed with perfect weather for our 2024 Interhouse Cross Country Carnival which took place at Kings Park’s Poolgarla Parkland. This year our Principal, Mrs Campbell, encouraged the PE Department to host a whole-school event and the carnival vibe was certainly rocking.

It was great to have so many parents and families attend the event, too. The Year 12 Student Leaders, as always, stepped up to assist in the organisation of the events and their enthusiastic participation and efforts were much appreciated.

All students are commended on their positive approach and willingness to do their individual best on the day, this is certainly a credit to them.

Congratulations on our individual award winners and also to the students selected into the 2024 ACC Cross Country Team that will compete at Alderbury Reserve on 30 May to represent St George’s.

Training continues for all students every Monday and Wednesday morning at 7am.

The ACC Team are strongly encouraged to attend as U/13 and U/14 runners need to run 3km and all other year categories will run 4km.
