Year 9 Report
Cameron Robinson
Year 9 students are nearly through another busy term!
Students have been keeping busy with lots of great opportunities such as Man Cave & Flourish Woman, Cable Park excursion, Morrisby Career Testing, Mythbusting Homelessness presentation and will be attending Australian Catholic University as part of their careers classes travel training in the final week of term. Along with this, students have been dedicated completing their CORE subject Semester 1 exams in English, Maths, Science & Humanities. This will set them up brilliantly for any further exams they have in their schooling journey.
Looking forward to Term 3, students will be participating in Morrisby interviews. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the students to sit down with a trained career practitioner and discuss their results. Students should take away valuable knowledge from this, and can help guide their pathways moving into the Senior School. Students will also complete their course counselling for their 2027 classes. This will be a great opportunity for families to begin to discuss what electives and pathways interest their child.
I hope everyone has a restful and safe break!
