Senior School  Report

It has been a busy and productive time in the Senior School, and I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible efforts of our students. 

Last week, our Year 10 and Year 11 students completed their Semester 1 exams. I am extremely proud of the dedication, resilience, and preparation they showed throughout the exam period. These assessments are an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning and reflect on their progress, and they should all be commended for the way they approached this challenge. 

This week, our Year 10 students have been out on Work Experience. This is always such a valuable opportunity for students to step into the workforce, build new skills, and explore future pathways. I look forward to hearing about their experiences and the insights they gain. 

Our Year 12 and Accelerated Learning Program(ALP) students also completed the General Achievement Test (GAT) this week, marking the first of the Year 12 examinations for 2026. The GAT is an important milestone, and I hope all students feel confident in the work they have done. I am incredibly proud of the commitment, preparation, and determination they have shown as they continue their final year of schooling. 

Next week, we will wrap up the term with our Senior School Social, and I am looking forward to seeing everyone dressed in their best outfits for this year’s theme: Oscars! It promises to be a fantastic way to celebrate the end of term together. 

Over the holiday break, our Year 12 scored VCE students and ALP students will be completing their practice exams during the second week of the holidays. These are an important part of exam preparation and provide valuable experience ahead of the final exam period.
