Home Group Report
Gabriella Dumesny
Over the past few weeks, students have participated in a range of Home Group activities designed to support both their personal growth and their understanding of the wider community. Following Careers Week and National Reconciliation Week, students reflected on their future aspirations and explored the importance of reconciliation, respect, and learning from Australia's history.

In Week 7, students engaged in lessons focused on developing important life skills, including emotional intelligence, dealing with feedback and criticism, building self-confidence and assertiveness, and developing a resilient mindset for adulthood. These sessions encouraged students to reflect on their strengths, challenges, and strategies for success both inside and outside the classroom.
This week, as part of Diversity Week, students are exploring the topic of racism and discussing how we can create a more inclusive, respectful, and welcoming school community. Through these conversations, students are developing a deeper understanding of empathy, acceptance, and the importance of celebrating diversity.
We look forward to continuing these important discussions in the coming weeks as we recognise Refugee Week and then finish the term with some fun winter-themed activities.
Thank you to all students for their thoughtful participation and contributions throughout the term. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable break when it arrives.
