We have had a massive semester in the Humanities Key Leaning Area. Students have been sitting their final learning tasks and Semester 1 exams and it has been great to see their engagement and deep thinking labour a range of societal issues.
Our Year 10s are currently out on work experience, stay tuned for some updates in future editions about their experiences. I'm really looking forward to visiting them on site and seeing how they are going out in the big world of work.
A huge shout out to the Year 7 team who have been doing some amazing tasks to deepen student learning about ancient societies, like casting Cuneiform clay tablets and constructing eel traps.
I hope everyone has a safe holidays and we look forward to another semester of humanities learning!
