Aherne Grandparents' and Friends' Day

On Friday the 13th of September, Girton Grammar School Students in Aherne house from years 7-9 enjoyed a fabulous day in the Black Box for the annual ‘Aherne Grandparents and Special Friends’ Day’. It was filled with remarkable acts from some very talented Ahernians. These included singing, dance routines and some incredible musical instrument performances. For everyone in Aherne house, this was an amazing day to share with your grandparents and special friends. Personally, what makes this day so special to me is seeing all the smiles and laughs from everybody in the room and seeing my some of my peer students having the confidence and courage to perform and act.

I think that everybody in Aherne house will agree with me when I say that Aherne grandparents and special friends’ day is truly marvellous.
