Twilight Jazz

Last Friday the Girton Big Band and Jazz Band hosted the annual Twilight Jazz event in the PA Courtyard. A little over an hour of music was presented to the 70-strong audience, who brought along their afternoon tea and enjoyed the perfect outdoor weather. They were treated to a wonderful variety of styles and soloists.

It was also an opportunity to farewell the Year 12 students, for whom the event was the last official engagement with the Big Band. Our heartfelt thanks and good luck goes out to Ella Berry (12 Jenkin), Evelyn Crawford (12 Jenkin), Sam Lindrea (12 Jenkin) and Oliver Vine (12 Jones).
