Students Learn to Drive

On Thursday 19th September, students participated in a driver instruction program in the regional town of Charlton. The program known as CHARTSEC caters for school students to help assist in the development of their basic driving skills to gain confidence within their driving ability.

A specially designed track taught students u-turns, reversing, parking and driver general knowledge to help them feel confident understanding road rules and car control.

A very successful day was had by all that participated and we thank the driving instructors at CHARTSEC for a successful day.

Some comments from the students below:

“Thank you to the two driving instructors to give up their time and help us, we hope we can do it again”.  Madi

“ I was excited and nervous, but I had a fun day and learnt a lot”.  Chelsea

“I felt very excited and nervous at the same time. During the day I began to feel very good about my driving because I learnt so many things”. Ashlyn
