Year 8 Drama

The Year 8 Drama classes participated in the Contemporary Indigenous Theatre workshop, facilitated by Mark Nannup, Amara Jensen and Danielle Hradsky from Drama Victoria. It was an incredibly valuable and engaging experience for both teachers and students. The session offered thoughtful insights into how First Nations theatre practitioners approach devising and script development, and the students responded with great energy, focus, and curiosity. 

Students were genuinely engaged in the collaborative activities and showed a strong interest in exploring different perspectives through performance. Mark, Amara and Danielle were exceptional facilitators, creating a supportive and dynamic environment that encouraged deep thinking and creativity.
