Ms Naidu - Year 8 Year Level Leader
Dear Families and Carers,
It’s been a busy and exciting term, and we’re proud to share some of the highlights from the Year 8 space.
SECASA Presentations
This term, our students attended the annual SECASA presentations, which focused on healthy relationships, respectful communication, consent, and personal safety. Qualified professionals run these sessions and aim to empower students with knowledge and strategies to build positive relationships, navigate complex social dynamics, and seek help when needed. Student feedback has been incredibly positive, and we thank families for their ongoing support of these important sessions.
Year 8 Camp – Philip Island Adventure Resort
We’re gearing up for our highly anticipated Year 8 Camp at Phillip Island Adventure Resort, from May 28 to May 30. Students will engage in various team-building activities, develop confidence, and strengthen friendships. It’s a fantastic opportunity to grow outside the classroom in a supportive and fun environment. Stay tuned for photos and reflections in our next newsletter!

Looking Ahead
We’re excited to round off the term with our Colour Run, a fun and vibrant event that continues to build strong peer and teacher relationships in a positive school environment.
Finally, we’re focusing on strengthening communication between home and school. We encourage families to contact their child’s Engagement Curriculum Teacher before Learning Conferences for an academic and social update. Building strong partnerships between home and school is crucial to supporting our young people in engaging with learning and thriving.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to what the rest of the term brings!
