Spooky vibes and festive prep

The Laurence Library has embraced the spirit of the season and things are looking a little spooky!  Halloween decorations have gone up across the space, adding an eerie charm that is hard to miss. Bats have taken up residence on the walls, shadowy figures greet you at the door, and, if you look closely, you might even spot a few mischievous black cats lurking in unexpected places.

Are you a horror aficionado? Or maybe you just enjoy the atmosphere! We invite you to stop by, soak up the Halloween vibes, and pick up something seasonally spooky to read during recess or lunch.

But just as the ghosts begin to settle, we are already looking ahead. Next week marks the beginning of our Christmas decorating – a particular favourite of mine – and we are planning to go BIG. If you are around during the breaks, we would love your help in bringing a bit of festive magic to the space.

Pop in during breaks, help us hang a few decorations, or even make your own. Join us and be part of the slow and steady build toward that end-of-year magic. It is only Week 3, but there is something special about starting the season early and watching the space transform bit by bit. Let us bring a little cheer to Term Four together.
