NRL TEAMS 

🏉 NRL VIC U14 9s State Championships 🏉

A fantastic day out for Mickleham Secondary College at the NRL VIC U14 9s, held at the State Rugby League and Community Centre in Seabrook.

Both our Girls and Boys teams made the semifinals, which is a huge achievement considering the strong competition from Craigieburn SC, Fountain Gate SC, The Grange P–12 and Manor Lakes P–12.

Our Girls took on top-ranked Manor Lakes in their semi, and our Boys went right down to the wire against The Grange. The effort, attitude and resilience from both teams were something to be really proud of.

Every student who trained got game time, and for some of our girls it was their first ever rugby league match. They showed courage, determination and a real willingness to give it a go — exactly what we want to see.

For a school that’s still growing and finding its feet, finishing in the top four in the state is genuinely exciting. Our students represented our values of Achievement, Respect, Community and Honesty throughout the whole day.

A big thank you to Jess Helm, Eli Morris, Jesse Rafferty, Tully McLellan, Jayden Perez, Lui Foloi and Bart Oswald for all their work with the teams. And thank you to @nrlvictoria for putting on such a great event.
