Koorie Group Excursion
The MSC Koorie Group went on an excursion into the city where they participated in a walk led by one of the knowledgeable Cultural Experience Guides from the Koorie Heritage Trust. On the walk they learnt about the history of the Birrarung and the enduring cultural connection of the Kulin Nation to this land, gaining insight into how Melbourne’s landscape has transformed over time and the continued cultural significance of Birrarung Wilam—a vital gathering place for the Kulin peoples, and now one of Melbourne’s most iconic meeting spots in the heart of the city.
During this excursion, the Koorie group acknowledged the recent signing of the Treaty in Victoria and celebrated the final session for this year. Each of the students that attended showed consistent respect for one another, staff, and community members, and carried themselves with a strong sense of pride and responsibility. Their genuine appreciation for the occasion reflected the values of respect, and community, making the event both meaningful and memorable.
Visual Arts 2025 - Community Day Display
Our Year 7 students wrapped up their final assessment by creating their own abstract landscape paintings. They proudly showcased their incredible artworks during Community Day as part of their very own gallery exhibition. Each piece was unique, creative, and wonderfully executed! We are so proud of their work in visual arts!

Clay Artwork
To finish off the year, our Visual Arts students explored clay to create artworks inspired by their favourite foods, characters, or anything of their own choice. They worked with great enthusiasm, respect, care, and produced fantastic pieces to take home and proudly display. Well done to all students!
