And the winner is...

Victoria Austin
Year 10 Coordinator
As reported in the last issue of the Brunswick Star, twelve students from Year 10 recently participated in the Swinburne Innovation Challenge.
We are thrilled to announce that one of our talented teams has been honoured with the Team Award for Sustainability & Social Impact!
Their outstanding submission, Bin-It!—a clever app designed to track daily trash output—impressed the judges with its creativity and positive vision for a cleaner future. This achievement is a wonderful recognition of their hard work, innovation, and commitment to making a difference.
The Swinburne Innovation Challenge, a program is 'designed to spark creativity and critical thinking through real-world problem solving', and we are so pleased that all of the students who participated were so keen to get their ideas out there. The Challenge gave them all another opportunity to imagine, voice and discuss their ideas and to work together, inspire and encourage each other. These are skills that transfer across all spheres of learning and life.
On behalf of the wider school community, we take great pleasure in congratulating them all on their efforts.
