Uni & TAFE Tours

Career & Pathways - Year 10

Despite the cold and rainy weather, our Year 10 students had a fantastic day out on their University and TAFE tours last Wednesday. Visiting a range of tertiary institutions, students had the opportunity to hear directly from current students, explore a variety of courses, and get a real sense of what life on campus is like.

The day was an eye-opening experience for many, with students enjoying the chance to ask questions, sit in lecture theatres, and walk through the learning spaces and student facilities. It was a valuable opportunity to consider future options and start thinking about possible pathways beyond school.

Our experience visiting University of Melbourne and Monash was nothing but positive. We learnt so much about potential pathways and opportunities given by the Universities. The day helped us all become more educated on our future plans.  ~ Evie Aspinall

The university/Tafe tour day was extremely helpful giving us insights on what university paths we might explore after year 12. It was packed with information on prerequisites, exchange options, degree's on offer and it was also fun to explore the different campuses around Melbourne. ~  Charlie Cincotta

I enjoyed visiting Melbourne and Monash University for the tours. It was interesting to listen to the presentations and learn what university life is like. The experience gave me a better idea of my future options and what I might want to study after school. ~ Capri Hall

We are incredibly proud of the way our students conducted themselves throughout the day. Their positive behaviour, respectful engagement, and willingness to get involved in conversations and activities were noted by both staff and presenters across the campuses.

If any students would like to explore other institutions or take a closer look at specific courses of interest, we strongly encourage them and their families to consider attending Open Days throughout July and August.

Well done to all involved on a successful and inspiring day!
