Senior School - Years 9 - 12

Year 9 Morrisby Interviews

Over the past few weeks, our Year 9 students have been participating in their Morrisby interviews — an important step in their career exploration journey. These one-on-one sessions gave students the opportunity to unpack the results of their Morrisby profile and engage in meaningful conversations about their strengths, interests, and future aspirations.

We’ve been incredibly proud of the way our students have approached these interviews — with curiosity, openness and maturity. The conversations have sparked some thoughtful reflections and exciting ideas about future pathways.

We hope that the insights gained will help guide students as they begin to think about subject selection for Year 10 and beyond in the coming weeks.

We encourage all students to log back into the Morrisby platform and continue exploring the resources and tools available. The website allows students to further investigate career options, industries of interest, and study pathways tailored to their unique profile.

Well done, Year 9, your futures are looking bright!

School Holiday Events Offered by Institutions

Across the July school holidays, a wide range of institutions — including universities, TAFEs and training providers — are offering workshops, campus tours, and hands-on activities designed to help students explore future study and career options.

These experiences are a fantastic way for students to:

  • Get a feel for different campuses

  • Learn more about specific courses or industries

  • Meet current students and staff

  • Engage in fun, practical activities related to their interests

Students from all year levels are encouraged to take a look through the document linked below. Whether you're in Year 8 and just starting to think about pathways, or in Year 12 preparing for VTAC applications, there’s something for everyone — from STEM and creative arts workshops to health, trades, and design tours.

These opportunities are a great way to spend a day in the holidays and could help shape your next steps!
