Year 8 Volleyball

Fifteen of our Year 8 students competed  at the School Sport Victoria Upper Hume Volleyball Carnival, held at the Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic Centre.

Our girls finished runners-up after winning their pool undefeated, with wins against Wodonga Middle Years (2–0) and Victory Lutheran College (2–1), before going down to Catholic College Wodonga in the final.

Standout players: Macy Boschetti, Joni Cornhill and Ava Penney.

Our boys couldn’t quite replicate the feat of last year’s team, who were Upper Hume Champions, but they showed terrific sportsmanship and continued to improve throughout the day.

Leading players: Ryder Alvey and Jarrad Kane.

A big thank you to all our players, coaches, umpires, opponents and organisers, as well as Kev McGennan for capturing the day in photos.
