ALUMNI Program

From Year 12 to a Career in Law: Jessie Knights Returns

We were lucky enough to welcome back 3 past students this term as part of the alumni program at WHS.

Earlier this term, we welcomed back Rheegan Ellis (Class of 2021) to speak with our Media and Communications students as part of our Alumni Program.

Since graduating, Rheegan has completed a Bachelor of Communications at Deakin University and now works as a Social Media Manager, Ad Strategist and User-Generated Content Creator.

We then heard from Lincoln Sharpe (Class of 1992), who has worked as a sound professional in the television and film industries for the past 27 years. Lincoln spoke with VET Music Industry students.

Lastly, Kara Williams (class of 1987) returned and shared her musical journey with contemporary performance VCE Music students. She was in Wangaratta as a special guest musician with the Wangaratta Concert Band during their Spring Concert.

Kara was the first student to be awarded the JM Humphries Award and added to WHS’s Music Hall of Fame, and is now a Musician, Music Teacher, and composer.
