Hands on Learning

Tuesday marked the final Hands On Learning session for the term, with students finishing off a busy day of projects and plenty of fun.

The day included removals, demolition and weeding in preparation for the holidays, as well as building a podium for future WHS sporting events. The podium will be painted and ready to go next term.

The final session saw students put the repaired bike/cart to the test with some races around the tennis and basketball courts. The new podium was then put through its paces, with Jesse taking out first place with a winning margin of just 0.7 seconds!

To finish the term, staff and students celebrated together in the shed with a well-earned feast of pizza, donuts and chocolate milk. 🍕🍩🥛
