Staff Changes for 2024

As we edge closer to the end of the 2023 academic school year, we have a small number of academic staff heading off to pastures new.

Farewells from the School occur at our end of year staff event; however, I know that students and families might also like to wish the following staff all the very best as they leave St George’s Anglican Grammar School.

We thank them sincerely for their care, their commitment, and their passion for teaching.

We will miss their collegiality and contributions of St George’s.

  • Ms Fabrianne Brown is moving to Kent Street SHS to teach Visual Art and Design.
  • Ms Charlotte Donovan has been appointed to the Head of Science role at Guildford Grammar School and will be leaving us after many years of dedicated service with the Anglican Schools Commission at both St George’s and St Mark’s.
  • Miss Sabine Higgins has been appointed to a Middle School Humanities teaching position at Scotch College.
  • Mr Ben Lewis has decided to take a break from teaching and is currently considering a return to a journalistic role in Canberra from the middle of next year.
  • Mrs Mel Thorpe is moving more fully into her leadership consultancy work but will continue to offer her services to our students in either intense study or revision workshops or relief work next year.

New Appointments for 2024

As a growing school, we have made the following appointments for 2024.
