Diving right in
Open Water Swimming
On Friday 24 November we have students competing in the inaugural Open Water Swimming School Championships, run by Swimming WA. This will take place at Coogee Beach starting at 9.30am. Students will swim an individual event of 250m; 500m or 1km and a Relay. It is a great introduction to our swimming season which begins in earnest in Term One, 2024.
St George’s students have proven themselves to be a force to be reckoned with in the swimming pool advancing from ACC, I-Division Swim Carnival in our inaugural involvement in 2017, to now competing in D-Division in 2024 after winning E-Division this year. An incredible achievement of our student alumni and students within school today! This is an exciting initiative from Swimming WA and we wish our inaugural team all the very best!
