Group 4 

As term 2 comes to an end, here are some of the highlights in Group 4 😊

This term’s theme was Books and Characters. The children have been developing early literacy and social skills through shared reading experiences. As many of our students have a strong interest in animals, we explored a variety of animal-themed books and characters throughout the term.

Some of the books we enjoyed reading together included Slippery Fish, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Colour Monster, Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?, and We All Go Travelling By.

During shared reading sessions, the children practiced taking turns turning pages, posting, matching, and sharing craft materials with one another. It has been wonderful to see students developing greater awareness of others, while also building cooperative and social skills as they explored stories together.

We are very proud of the enthusiasm and engagement the children have shown throughout the term. We wish everyone a warm and happy term break, and we look forward to seeing you all again in two weeks!
