Group 25

This term, Group 25 has been reading The Diary of Wombat and completing a variety of activities all about wombats. We loved pretending to run as fast as a wombat during our mathematics activities and racing against our friends. In literacy, we identified and matched the characters and settings from the story. We also challenged ourselves to give instructions to our peers while playing “Pin the Nose on the Wombat.” This was tricky because we could not see!

In Group 25, we have also been working hard to become more independent in our life skills activities. We have practised personal care skills, sorting and organising pencils, washing windows, and tying our shoelaces. We also set up a laundry room where we wash, dry, and iron clothes, helping us develop important everyday living skills.
