Group 10

Group 10 has had a busy but productive Term 2! Students have engaged in a variety of different learning experiences which have been primarily focused on developing their social skills. Playing alongside, sharing and collaborating with others has been key skillsets taught this term.
This term, students have continued to enjoy participating in specialist subjects like STEM, P.E and Swimming. They have also had the addition of Art and Food Tech, which they have loved participating in!
Throughout the term, Group 10 have participated in their rotations and work stations with high engagement and success. They have demonstrated excellent independence when starting and completing a task and can move onto the next task by following their schedule. We are really proud of Group 10 for how well they participate in their learning and their excitement for new tasks.
We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the theme for this Term “Books & Characters”, and have engaged in a variety of story-themed activities. The students were able to read “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and explore the numeracy aspect in this story. They also got to paint and create their own Caterpillar and also create butterflies with playdough. A listening corner was added into our classroom rotations where students got to engage in different weekly themed books (ABC books or counting books) and then listen to music related to that theme.
We are incredibly proud of our students’ learning and engagement this term and appreciate you for the ongoing support you have shown.
Kind regards,
Julia.
