Group 2

It has been a great term in Group 2.  

We have loved listening to stories and learning about different characters. One of the class’ favourite stories was ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. Each child liked having a turn at feeding him all the different types of food. We did this as a group and played some turn taking games. 

We also liked listening to the story “Dear Zoo’ and choosing the best pet. The whole class thought the snake was too scary to be a pet.  For “Where is the Green Sheep?’ we had to find where the sheep was hidden. The class loved finding it asleep under the bush. As part of ‘Reconciliation Week’ we loved listening to the story of the Bundjil. As a class we created eagle puppets and then made them fly in the air as we told the story.
