Help with the cost of camps, sports and excursions
The Victorian Government Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) helps eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities. If you have a concession card, such as a Veterans Affairs Gold Card, Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible.
If you applied for CSEF through our school last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year, unless there has been a change in your family circumstances. If you would like to apply for the first time, please contact the school office via info@nhs.vic.edu with a completed form, or come into school to collect a form.
Applications close on 24 June 2022.
Attached below is further information, an FAQ sheet and the application form.
NHS Empower Fund: Helping Students in need
The pandemic has hit many of us hard. Jobs have been lost. Incomes reduced. We understand families have been doing it tough. While you may not have previously thought about putting your hand up for support, if you are feeling stressed about how you will afford new uniforms, books or upcoming trips, we want you to know to reach out to us for help. We are very friendly and respecting your privacy is important to us. Don’t suffer alone. The thrive fund is created to make sure everyone in our community thrives.
See the flyer below for more information. For all enquiries please contact Leanne Petroff our Head of Student Services.
