Year 7 Portraiture

Archibald Prize portraits : works in progress

The Year 7s studying Visual Art this semester are currently in the middle of producing their own Archibald Prize portraits. The students have learnt about facial proportions and have been researching biographical details of their sitters, enabling them to add meaningful, symbolic imagery to their portraits. Here's a small selection of our works in progress, with Max Harabalja and Christopher Panay of 7L. Max is holding his portrait of Christopher.
