Climbing Excursion

Rock climbing and bouldering at Gravity Worx

As part of Unit 3 Outdoor and Environmental Studies, students went on an excursion to Gravity Worx. The got to try out Rock Climbing, Bouldering, a Quick-Jump (which simulates what a climbing fall would feel like) and other rope challenges. They investigated the advances in technology, how risks are managed and the impacts these types of facilities have on society. Lots of fun was had.

A massive shout out and good luck to Finley Evans who is off to the 2022 Youth Climbing Championships in Sydney at the end of this week. From what we saw during this excursion, Finley will really rock it!
