 La Trobe University Workshop

On Friday 28 October, the year 10 Film class took the bus out to La Trobe University to attend a film workshop. Upon arriving at the university, the students were taken on a tour to the television studio and sound recording studio. They were then taken to a MAC Lab where two young university graduates took the group through some basic camera and editing techniques. The students broke up into groups and then had a short time to film and edit a short sequence. The students were able to apply the skills they learnt in class when making their films. They also had an opportunity to explore the university campus. The students had a great day, as it  gave them an insight into university life as well as filming on location.
