Monash University Commerce Scholars Day
A group of six Kew High School year 11 students were nominated to attend the Commerce Scholars day on Monday 21 November 2016 at Monash University. During this invite-only event, year 11 students from a number of schools participated in two master classes. These classes complemented their studies in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics. Students were also involved in a course information session and a session where students had the opportunity to hear from industry speakers. The day was a great opportunity for students to build upon academic skills and knowledge; be inspired by professionals and current Monash Business school students and discover more about what Monash Business School can offer.
Students found the day rewarding and were especially grateful to receive a Commerce Scholars Day T-shirt to wear on the day.
Students in attendance were: Nathan Pancharoen; Tom Williams; Aleksander Naumoski; Kevin Nguyen; Ella Florence Gook and Mia McLeod.
