2022 SCHOOL CAPTAINS

Harmony Fenoughty (Year 12 leader)

Introducing the 2022 APHS School Captains

I would like to introduce our three new School Captains for 2022.

Freya

Hi there! I’m Freya, and I’ll be one of the school captains in 2022. Here’s a little bit about me. I’ve always been one for school, I adore everything about school and the community that comes with it. I’m an avid reader and can often be seen carrying books around with me. After school, I want to attend University and study a law degree, with the eventual goal of becoming a politician. I’m also a very busy baker, and often make deliveries to the school with sweet treats. I look forward to seeing you all in 2022!

Jordan

My name is Jordan Blanksby and I am one of the school captains at APHS for 2022. I nominated for the role of school captain to be able to help students within the school and make the school environment a place where students can enjoy coming to school. As a school captain, I would like to achieve an environment in which everyone enjoys coming to school and achieves their goals for the year. Throughout the year, I would like to implement the requests of students within the school in order to make the school environment more welcoming to all students.

Ben

Hi, my name is Ben Akers and in 2022 I plan to utilise my role as school captain in a number of ways like making sure students voices are heard by teachers and members of the executive team of the school. By doing this I hope to achieve a “harmonious” school environment which allows every student to feel safe and welcomed, no matter their year level.

Each student brings a unique skill set to the role and will be a welcomed addition to the school student leadership team. They each outlined their vision for leadership and impressed with their presentation to our executive leadership team. The Aberfoyle Park High School leadership team is looking forward to working with Freya, Jordan, and Ben in 2022.

I would also like to acknowledge and thank our outgoing School Captains and Vice Captains for 2021:

Ali

Bree

Dane

Sam

Rueben

They have all contributed considerably to the student voice and direction in 2021 and have been a pleasure to work with.
