Life at Cecil:
Athletics Carnival 2023

One of my greatest passions in life is sports photography and it is my great pleasure to be able share that passion with the Cecil community.

Here are some of my favourite photographs from the Athletics Carnival:

Record breaker:Year 12 student Djordje Kaludjerovic shattered the old record for the 17-year-old boys' 1500-metre race with 5.00.17.

2. Unbridle joy: Year 7 students filled with laughter as the Athletics Carnival kicked off.

3. Bleeding Green: Chisholm House Leaders lifts their house spirit up through a convincing Athletics Carnival win with 699 points.

4. Unstoppable: Zaaem Rahman powers through a race with a smile on his face alongside Ms Lee.

5. Precious looks of friendship:Year 8 were all smiles as they cheered their team on.

6. Full steam ahead: Rajeev Karan wills his way through his first 100-metre race in high school alongside Mr McSwiggan.

7. Finishing strong: Vice Captain - Tristan Carvonale - crosses the finish line with his cricket gear - much to the delight of Mr Evans.

8.All business: Kassem Farhat attempts a discus throw.

9. A star is born: Year 7 student Jelena Alavanja sets a new record for the 12-year-old high jump event with 1.37m.
