Unafraid to take up space!

It was such an enlightening experience to speak with Yvette Kinkade, who is the Treasurer for the National Council of Women Australia, and to hear the invaluable advice she had to share with young feminists such as myself.

We are so appreciative of her volunteering her time to come speak with our Year 12 female cohort and then allow us to further explore the theme of this year's International Women's Day in The Cecil Voice.

She encouraged us to have confidence and courage and step into our own power, which is such an important lesson to teach young women. She reminded us to never be afraid of taking up space!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn from a wonderful individual.
