Inclusion through sport

The Support Unit at Cecil Hills High School is a proud partner of the Heroes With Ability (HWA) organisation.

Heroes With Ability is an organisation co-founded by a valued member of the Cecil community, Marco Quintao. His son, Marco Jr., was a student in our Support Unit.

Every Tuesday morning, our students attend a rugby league workshop which focuses on functional movement and exercise, and also promotes fun, teamwork, communication and fitness.

But most importantly, the program teaches students the value of inclusion - how to feel included and how to include others.
