Proud Year 9 students hone their skills

Year 9 students are enjoying the first term of electives and learning many new skills. The excitement of designing, making and finishing off a beautiful wooden chopping board in Industrial Technology - Timber is evident in the proud faces of Year 9 students Youssif Poles Cholagh and Nathan Lee. To maximise the practicality of his board, Nathan finished off his work carefully, ensuring there were no gaps or rough edges to trap food particles, and Youssif even designed and incorporated a feature designed to trap waste and draw it away from the work area of his board.
